Although, many recruits could wait till the AAU season is over at the end of July to start trimming lists down, expect to see a lot of this happening after the spring session is over around Memorial Day.

The process actually started Monday. We will have a running thread to name the prospects as they decide.

Jahvon Quinerly - No. 26 - 6-foot-0 point guard - Hackensack, New Jersey

Narrowed list - UCLA, Arizona, Seton Hall, Stanford, Villanova, Virginia, Kansas

The skinny - Bryce Drew offered Quinerly after he saw him play last summer. The East Coast point guard was always a long shot, and with so much interest by Vanderbilt put in the direction of Darius Garland, interest really never got off the ground from either direction. Interestingly enough, Quinerly is considered to be one of the top five point guards in the class along with Garland.

Torrence Watson - No. 100 - 6-foot-4 shooting guard - St. Louis, Missouri

The list - Vanderbilt, Michigan, Marquette, Missouri, Creighton, Butler, Kansas State, St. Louis.

The skinny - Vanderbilt offered Watson earlier this year. He has made it clear that he wants to stay close to home. Most think that means St. Louis and Missouri will be the teams to beat because of that, but Watson told us recently .that he doesn't consider Nashville to be too far from home.
