Basketball camps will be cranking up for Vanderbilt in the next few days and their are a lot of talented underclassmen expected to attend, one of the most intriguing is 2017 Kentucky Country Day (Ky.) guard Anthony Mathis, Jr.

Mathis is considered one of the state's best guards in his class, during his freshman season he averaged over 16 points and four assists per game and had an even more impressive sophomore campaign, dropping over 20 points per game. He has already amassed 1,000 points in his high school career.

Already skilled with handles, a quick shot, shooting range that stretched beyond the 3-point line, the ability to drive to the basket and create, and vision that allows him to get his teammates involved - he's definitely a prospect to keep an eye on in the future as Vanderbilt has already shown some a good bit of interest in him.
