1. Watching these 2 games, there just seems to be a huge gap between Vandy FB and these 4 teams. These teams have 11 players on the field at all times that can really run and hit, as well as being highly skilled. I guess that gap would also exist for just about every other team as well, not just Vandy. But the fact that we did beat Alabama (although they are not equal to these final four teams), it maybe does show that the gap is a little less than it used to be.
2. If instead of 12 teams, it was still just 4 playoff teams which were selected, would the committee have selected these 4 teams? These 4 teams look to be far superior to the other 8.
