Where's the Stack defenders today?

A lot of us thought it was a bad hire from day one. No college coaching experience. No recruiting experience.

Some thought it was a good hire. Played in the NBA, recruits wiil be beating down the door to play for him.

After a miserable year one, us naysayers said we told you so. You defenders said Drew left a mess, injuries, etc. You just wait.

After a miserable year two, us naysayers said we told you so. You defenders said Drew left a mess, injuries, etc. You just wait.

After a decent year three, riding the last of Drew's recruits, us naysayers said ok, MAYBE he's ok, let's see what he's got with all of Drew's recruits gone. You defenders said we told you so.

Now, in year four, with a roster full of his own players, we can't score, we can't defend, we are 8 or 9 points away from being 2-8 instead of our current impressive 5-5 record, attendance is looking close to women's games level bad.....so, where are you Stack defenders now? Do you finally see that he's not a good coach, or are you still stubbornly refusing to give in?

Jordan the man Wright

I have been proud of players in the past and rightly so as some have over achieved or hit winning shots, but that performance by J Wright was so special for several reasons, he looked to be done after the Florida game and has not had the kind of year he expected.

I know some on here don't want to hear this but Stackhouse having played as much as he did and his personality with the players seems to be one that shows his confidence in them and in the long run that confidence helps all the players have a never give up attitude and also makes them tough.

Was so happy to see JWright have a good game and my guess is Stackhouse didn't give him a speech but somehow let him.know that he isn't done this year.......if he keeps this up this team can do some special things....still.

Interesting article from a Cats site

As we head into tomorrow nights game, I stumbled across an article from the Kentucky point of view. I enjoy reading what other teams think of us when we are playing well. Mostly coach-speak, but at least it's positive.

Stack just said Liam has a lower leg injury

and is likely out for the season. I am listening to the radio show. He said to keep him in our prayers but that the universe has a plan for everybody (he said "God has a plan for everyone" actually).

I was juggling the phone. Was Liam out early with the injury? Maybe we can still beat people but that's a big obstacle to surmount, losing him.
