Now that Kentucky's gotten their man, making completely unfounded comparisons between our coaches feels like a fun way to pass the time from now until October. (For good measure, might as well throw in Calipari, or Chris Mack, Rick Barnes, 1980s Bob Knight, or anyone else you find interesting).

I want to hear other perspectives first. Meanwhile I note that this Kentucky fan put both in the same class of "Hires to keep an Eye on in 5+ years," obviously before we knew where either was going.

Realistic coaching replacements for Cal

At this point, I'd take Al Sharpton over Calipari. Screw Calipari.
