Please welcome back Justin Angel, who's worked with us for many years. Justin is a local high school football coach, so in addition to having him help him cover recruiting/talk to players, etc., he can bring a coach's' lens to evaluations of signees and targets, and those kinds of things.

As for Jesse Johnson, he sent me a text a few days ago saying he just was not able to help us as he'd planned. I knew it might be a long shot as he's working several jobs outside this, but I wanted to give him a shot just because he's an important part of what we built here and I wanted to honor that. There are no hard feelings and I do think he'll stick around and post and interact with people here some but it just wasn't feasible for him at this stage of life.

Anyway, I wish Jesse the best and we are excited to have Justin back.

Yes, 6-6 and getting to bowl game is incredibly unexpected. Yes, we love Pavia. Yes, by all statistical measures we improved from a very low place. I’ll be at the bowl.

Today…Clark Lea and his staff choked this game away. We may not have won anyway, but the staff absolutely failed the players today.

Clark should fire himself from DC after putting that three front scheme in. 100 percent cost us the game. Did we really stop what we wanted????? And Beck really came unglued today also. Preach and play to an identity and then go away from it? What an over engineered game plan.

0-4 versus UT Clark. That’s unacceptable.
