We will get our scoring from the wings, so I'm not worried. But, for those of you who are "unimpressed"...
Florida's 6'10 starting center in the final four, Reuben Cheinyelu, averaged 6 ppg and 6 rpg this year.
UTjr's 6'11 starting center, Felix Okpara, had 7 ppg and 6 rpg.
Alabama's 6'11 starting center, Clifford Omoruyi, had 8 ppg and 6 rpg.
Kentucky's 6'10 starting center, Amari Williams, had 11 ppg and 8 rpg.
None of these season averages are anything special. They fulfilled a role on teams that generally got most of their scoring from the wings. These guys we signed are more than equipped to do the same for us, imo. Especially since they will be freeing up Glock to do other things.
These are two significant signings, don't let their mediocre ppg averages make you forget why they were signed, to give us size, bodies, rebounding, and defense in the post.
