If Owen cannot go in the Regional, will the Coach be forced to break his pattern of always starting his #1 in Game 1 of the Regional (in this instance, Futrell as the presumptive #1 since Holton and Owen would not be available)? Wouldn't he want Futrell against the winner of #2 vs #3 instead of going up against the #4 in order to maximize the possibility of going 2-0? If you lose either Game 1 or Game 2, then you have to be able to cover 5 games and with the current depth issues plaguing the pitching staff, I would not want to have that scenario play out.

Of course, we are seeing this scenario, albeit in a slightly different way unfold in front of our eyes right now in the SEC tourney! It may serve as a nice trial run for Corbin to process and then map out his game plan for the NCAA Tourney.

Your thoughts? Chris Lee, with the benefit of breathing Mountain air, you have a long history of closely observing Tim's managing moves, your perspective would be appreciated.
