Here is an updated look at the full landscape of players who transferred from VU to another school. The results (excluding the non-D1 players) are mixed as
- some start every game for their new school - - Disu, Wright, Dia, McBride, QMB, Thomas , Dorsey - - while others are reserves with some playing a good number of minutes - - DeZonie, Mann, Frank - - to others playing very sparse minutes - - Shelby - - and with Stute as both a starter and bench player;
- a few have missed some time with injuries - - Disu, Stute, Thomas, Mann;
- one rode the pine early during the year - - DeZonie;
- only a few play for Power Conference programs - - Disu, Stute, Wright - - while the others dot the roster of many non-Power 5 schools; and
- a couple have contributed to teams at the top of their conferences - - Stute (1st), Thomas (4th) - - while others toil for the conference bottom feeders - - DeZonie (14th), Dorsey (13th) Shelby (11th), Wright (10th), QMB (9th), Disu (9th), Frank (9th), Mann (8th) with "middling status" in the mix in two instances - - Dia (6th), McBride (5th), also.
- 5 players averaging 30+ minutes per game
- QMB with the highest FG % - - - wow;
- QMB as a double digit scorer;
- Disu with a non-believable % from "3";
- a few 80% + FT shooters with one over 90%;
- QMB almost at 10 boards per game; and
- Seven double digit scorers.
