What loss sticks with you the most?
Mississippi State (in the 2018 Super Regionals), that one, I punched my pillow the whole night after that one. Couldn’t sleep. Slept on that chair (in the office) with my uniform on. Woke up at 8 o’clock the next morning with my damn uniform on.

(Wife) Maggie and I sat in the SEC Tournament last year, and some guy was talking to another person and said — he was a Mississippi State fan — and he said, “Can you believe Vanderbilt has 35 free scholarships?” I heard him say that, and I turned to him and said, “That is unbelievable. They are cheating again, aren’t they?” He said, “Yep, they are.” I just got up and walked away with Maggie and didn’t let him know who I was. It didn’t matter. I was just joining in.
