VU has got burned 3 times now trying to go/stay lefty on lefty. I’m not faulting last night at all other than once Green allowed the HR think you make a change then.
But that’s the third time now in last couple of weeks they’ve allowed a key HR going or staying with a lefty vs lefty matchup. 3 swings away from possible 3 less losses and 3 more wins.
Wonder if they recognize that and maybe will get away from it. I know Green got the out vs Louisville and the last out in the 7th, but , and hindsight is 20/20, you are up on TN with 2 innings. Don’t worry about matchup maybe you go with you absolute best pitcher there and try to get 2 innings for the win and not worry about Sunday. There success rate late bs good teams going lefty on lefty hasn’t had a great success rate lately.
