I find it extremely bizarre that Vanderbilt has put forth a reasonable effort to upgrade the athletics facilities, yet nobody has any idea what they are going to do with the east and west stands. I would imagine the east and west stands will make up more than 75% of the seating capacity, but here we are, over a year into the project and they haven’t even considered what they’re going to do with where the majority of their fans will sit.
Will it just be the same stadium but with really nice end zone options for a select few VU fans and opposing fans?
Will there be chairbacks?
Will they add more bathrooms?
Just how long will this project take?
How was this not figured out in the front end?
I cannot imagine another athletic director in the country keeping its fans in the dark about its single biggest asset, the football stadium. This is another strike against CSL.
All of that said, maybe they already put this out and I missed it.
