Coming into Vandy, the plan the whole time was to stay the whole three years. Given some of the politics and certain things that were out of my control, it became apparent I should look for different opportunities for my final year and graduate school as well.
I prefer to not get into the nitty-gritty of it, but a lot of stuff that was out of my control, so honestly, USC presented itself with a perfect situation for both grad school and football.
