also not sure if others had seen this but the UGA assistance coaches for both men's and women's tennis teams have been removed. This is a police matter now and allegations are that they stole prescription drugs from the athletic department. No players are believe to be involved. UGA is hosting the NCAAs while all this is going on. Awkward.
This has me wondering about the meds that athletics departments are allowed to have and administer. Please tell me that staff doesn't have easy access to opioids. Last week we attended the funeral of one of my stepson's best friends who we absolutely loved. Considered him part of our family for the past 20 years. 29. Extraordinary young man. Given this stuff years ago for injury. Went through treatment and we thought he was doing great. This shouldn't be happening.
