LSU this Thursday is the toughest remaining team on the women’s schedule. It would be a signature win and is not impossible. LSU has lost to Auburn and Mississippi State, both of which we have defeated. We would have to play a great game, like as we did for 2/3 of the game against South Carolina.
Regardless of the outcome the LSU game, we are positioned for a good stretch run . 3 of the 6 remaining regular season games aftr LSU are against Georgia (twice) and Missouri, the two worst teams in the league. Arkansas and A&M are on the road but beatable and similar to us talent wise. Tennessee has superior talent but is a home game and we will be fired up . 4 and 2 is a realistic expectation. Anything less and I will be mildly disappointed. 6 and 0 is tough but doable and would position us nicely for the tournaments.
