Can Baptiste be any more lost than Sehic? I would tell the Beast to go in there and rebound. Show intensity. Use that man-child freakish body. Box out and rebound on defense. If he has to stand in the corner on offense, while the rest of the team runs the O and he just crashes the offensive glass, I would take that. I guarantee you he could be the best rebounder on a team that sorely needs someone to grab rebounds in Luke's absence and in general.
ESPN said 4-6 weeks on Luke and that it's an MCL sprain, which is a tear. What if it's 6 weeks? What if he comes back and re-aggrivates the injury or is even slower because of a brace he's wearing? What if he re-aggreivates it and Luke has to have surgery and it ends his season? At this point, it's got to be all hands on deck, because we face a Purdue team whose is strong inside, and we will continue to get murdered on the defensive glass from here on out.
Djery could definitely benefit from the redshirt year, but he could also benefit from playing ball. Go get the ball big fella. Squeeze the air out of it and then hand it to Baldwin. Even if that's all he does, this team would benefit from his play.
