If people were acting inappropriately in that thread then their comments should have been edited and/or deleted. But there has to be a better way to deal with troublemakers than deleting the original post. That is not fair to bhmarcus, who worked hard on that post and presented interesting and valuable information. And it's not fair to the people here who can behave.
