1. Our O-line's struggles were not by accident. We should be able to dominate the running game based on O-line domination and just can't get it going. Pass protecting has been solid. End of three quarters and we have about 140 yards rushing with probably 49 by our QB.
2. Trent Sherfield could become a very good player. I don't care if it's AP -- racking up 240+ yards receiving in any game is the real deal. Update: School record.
3. Games like AP should be the first of the season. We need to be able to walk into SEC games with some confidence and games like this help.
4. McCrary has matured. Not all the way and this was AP, but we all know he could have performed worse, but he played well today. The struggles through the first two games, while painful to suffer through, have helped his game. Next week against an SEC defense will let us know how much he's matured. Limit turnovers and good decisions would keep us in most games.
5. D Woods - I like him a lot. Could become a player. Update: DeAndre Woods just went down as I'm writing this. Looks like and ACL to me based in how it happened. Hope not. He's walking off fine but that doesn't mean much.
6. Defense will give us a chance to win an unexpected SEC game. It's all about the O.
7. If we can't close the turnover gap it's going to be a very long season.
