- What a great night and event. The city of Omaha, the layout and the people could not be nicer.
- Embassy Suites has been a load of fun talking to the players, seeing the little kids (and some big ones) getting autographs. There are several other 13-15 yr old baseball teams staying here at the hotel and they are in heaven seeing their heroes in the hotel.
- I am reminded of what a grind this must be and the type of team it takes mentally to win this thing. I am worn out after traveling and cheering on 1 game and getting to bed late, cant imagine doing it for 2 weeks.
- The layout here is great - almost everything within walking distance - food, shops and baseball.
- Not sure what the crowd looked like on TV but seemed to be more VU than UVA at the game. The place seemed close to capacity and its interesting to see all the casual local people at the game mixed in around us crazy fanatics.
- The game itself was amazing and electric. Its such a big stage but you can tell the Vandyboys are very very focused regardless of age...UVA seemed comfortable as well as would be expected. In person you can almost feel the pressure of VU's batting lineup on UVA - it never lets up with even Karl and TC getting into the action last night.
- Tonight will be interesting. The hotel buzz is there are a lot more people coming up for tonight. This game could go either way. Glad Kyle Wright got his World Series nerves worked out. Between the Ump squeezing him and him being off a bit...

As someone tweeted last night, and I hate to agree, but Vandy has a lot of Blackhawks in them. You know their coming, you know every second their still in the game, they are going to find a way to beat you.
