...and I for one think three teams other than UK were legit title contenders: Duke (obviously), Wisconsin and Notre Dame. I'd rank ND fourth, ahead of Michigan State. Those three teams really defined team basketball at the highest level.
I'd like to believe that the tournament disproved the one and done method of building a program, but the fact is Duke started three freshmen and one sophomore. I loved watching Wisconsin and Notre Dame, but the fact is neither won the title, and if you put UK up against any of those three UK wins two out of three IMO.
Regardless, I am thrilled that UK didn't win it all and am pretty happy Duke won it only because I know it just drives UK fans nuts.
