4 of the top 5, and 5 of the top 7 NBA Draft picks last night did not play college basketball in the United States. The highest US college player chosen was Brandon Miller from Bama at #2, and the next one was Anthony Black from Arkansas at #7. The first UK player taken was PG Cason Wallace at #10. Cal only has success when he has a "platoon" of three or four top 10 picks including a #1 or #2 level talent. But hell, give me that roster and I'll go 16-2 and 34-5 in the Final Four. The fact that Cal can't win Jack crap the last 8 years and counting while having still stellar but no linger elite level talent puts truth behind the adage that all he does is roll the ball out there.
