Baylor has four players averaging double figures. We know Vanderbilt can score, but can it defend the Bears on Sunday?

Katz: Yes. Baylor can be contained. Vandy has the length to do it.

Brown: Sure they can. The Commodores rank 15th nationally in scoring defense and 16th in defensive efficiency, according to Ken Pomeroy. With so much focus on containing Rico Gathers, Taurean Prince and Johnathan Motley inside, the key for Vanderbilt might be how well it contests the 3-point line on kick-outs. The Bears don't launch a ton of 3s, but they are shooting 39 percent as a team.

Gasaway: Last season the Commodores' defense was right at the SEC average, allowing 1.02 points per trip in conference play. Kevin Stallings has a similar rotation for 2015-16 (minus James Siakam), so these guys are at least solid on D and may turn out to be even better than that.
