VU had runners on the corners after two were out in the first, but were unable to score, as Reynolds struck out. The dogs have runners at 1st and 2nd with 1 out. Georgia eventually loads the bases, as they were hitting the ball well, but Vanderbilt was also making some fine plays in the field to limit runners to one base, saving at least a couple of runs. Eventually a force at 2nd ended the inning with no damage done. Coleman made two fine plays in left, and Campbell made a great play at 2nd to save a run.

Lawlor, the Georgia pitcher, has VU guessing so far, as he has struck out five Commodores in two innings.

Buehler not fooling the hitters much so far; still having issues leaving the ball up. Gave up a lead off double on an 0-2 pitch, and he came around to score after being moved over to third on a ground out, and then coming home on a bounce out to third.
