He's had a great year on both ends of the floor. He plays a tough position and has had the focus of opponents' game plan from game one. Many of our 19 victories would not have happened with an average center. He gives us a rare combination of good productivity and mind-blowing highlights. As a preseason, first team All-SEC pick and the clear number one option coming into this year, he has also had a bit of a microscope on him. We've all seen areas in his game that need more refining. So he's not been perfect. But often those areas have perhaps warped some of the perspective of what he is...and that's a first team All SEC, first team All Defensive player at one of the toughest positions on the court, as a Sophomore. Above all of that, he's apparently a very good student in a very tough major. And he's got to be one of the most humble, pleasant guys Vandy has ever had.
