Vanderbilt offers 2017 QB

Class of 2017 Nocross, Ga. QB Baron Radcliff let us know that he picked up his first scholarship offer, courtest of Vanderbilt. Radcliff is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound prospect who is very physically impressive and turned in an exciting showing during his first career start this past weekend.

Performance: Radcliff caught the eye of Rivals.com Midwest Analyst Josh Helmholdt at Ohio State's camp over the summer and, based on the way Radcliff impressed in his first career start, it's easy to see why. Radcliff is still very raw as a passer, but at 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds and super athletic, he's a matchup nightmare for defenses. He finished the game with 130 yards rushing and two touchdowns, while going 3-of-8 passing for 27 yards, one touchdown and one interception. It shouldn't be long until schools start offering Radcliff.
