I really really hope the team can stay focused and keep trying to get better. This d can't play this good week in and out but they somehow do.
I know this sounds crazy but competing against a really good defense and not turning it over is something to build on. Do what you do, nothing more and do your job without turning it over and you have a chance. As long as Vandy is within 1 score I would not change a thing.
This OL is a patchwork of disaster btw and it effects everything.
Finally the worst part is special teams. We have too many good athletes on D side of ball to be this poor and worst of all Openshaw is in complete choke mode now. Not just playing poorly but choking on any important play.
P.S. - when you get some appropriate refereeing and maybe even a 50-50 call, it makes a difference.
While many don't expect it, this team can win 2/3 to end things.
