The current team shot around before the game a good bit, casually. Some observations:
- Luke was the guy who just caught the eye. He's huge. 2 inches taller than Will Perdue. And he has gotten noticeably bigger. He just flipped in a 30 footer flat footed, with ease at one point. Apparently he drained 4 in a row last night from beyond half court. He is just gigantic on the court.
- Roberson's stacked. Broadest shoulders on the team.
- Sehic looked fabulous out there shooting. His mechanics are really good on his J. Went a long while before missing anything. And he's big, but looks leaner and meaner than before.
- Baptiste, ummmm, not in the running for best shooter on the team, haha! But he's very impressive, physically. Does look closer to 6'10" than 7'0. I asked if he could carry me and my son in a suitcase if we snuck onto the plane to Maui. He laughed.
- Cressler's big and looks great with the ball. Said he is more than ready to get back on the court.
- Baldwin couldn't stop repeating how much better they'd be on the court this season while signing autographs. Funny that he's so focused and competitive-minded even at a chilled out meet and greet.
- MFD - looks bigger and stronger. They all look cut and in great condition.
- DJ is an NBA player on loan.
They are all 100% nice, friendly, intelligent, and fired up. Thoughts on other stuff later, but it was once again a fantastic event!
