The opponent who needs to be on our schedule

It's BC 48 Howard 0 in the first half. Why can't we schedule Howard? (Is it too cynical to suggest that we schedule a HBCU every year and call it Diversity Recruitment Week or some such?)

I could understand if Nebraska or Bama or Texas were outbidding us for the really awful opponents. But BC is less culturally relevant in Boston than Vandy is in Nashville, with crowds to match.
