I can't help but think that TV sports directors sometimes don't understand what their audience wants to see. Such is the case of Matthew McConaughey and Texas. By now we all know he is a Texas superfan. Show him once so we know he is there (as if we actually care) and that is enough. I can somewhat understand the fascination with showing Taylor Swift at the Chiefs game (I don't care about that either). After all, she is probably the most famous and most recognizable entertainer in the world. But McConaughey----enough is enough.
