Think about it. What evidence is there that Vanderbilt cares about this football program? Vanderbilt Doesn’t spend money on the program, they hire ridiculously incompetent coaches, aside from one lucky hire that lasted a grand three years here and provide a lousy game day experience. The teams on average are considered successful here after winning six games. That has happened I believe six times in my lifetime. I’m freaking 40!
I just don’t see a reason why I should care about a program that doesn’t care about itself anymore. I hate that I sound like all the older people I have come across during my life who said “cheer for (insert team), they aren’t terrible like Vandy” or “Vandy doesn’t care about football” but I finally see reality. Vanderbilt doesn’t care. They probably never will.
