I am working on a summer ball update but wanted to post a separate topic on Stephen Scott. Below are his numbers this past week (through last night) for the Newport Gulls of the NECBL:
14-29, 6 HR, 2 2B, 12 RBI, 10 R, 3 BB
His slash line: .483/.531/1.172
He now leads the NECBL in both HRs and RBIs. It doesn't matter what level of baseball you are playing on, that is an impressive week of hitting. The best part is seeing him make adjustments and rebound from the slump he experienced after the hot start. Corbs was even in the stands for the 2 HR game on Friday.
