Trying to model our football program to then them is maybe the biggest flaw in CDMs plan. Everytime he mentions them I cringe a little. It's a little old. At first it sounded good because they are very successful as a football program. Even trying to model them is okay...kinda...but to constantly verbalize that lifts them up and makes us a copy cat program. I wish CDM would win games...but since that does not appear to have much hope at least stop the Stanford copy cat business.
Failure to establish our own identity seems to have left a hole in our makeup and fire in the belly.
