Vadore speculated that the incident last night could be a catalyst to bring the team closer and lead to more success down the road. I was't so sure. After watching Stallings PC held at today's shoot around, I now think Vadore may be right.
Stallings took full responsibility for what happened last night and he essentially exonerated Wade saying that the behavior was not as egregious as described to him by the UT coach (that's one of things I wanted to hear from him - that Wade did not deserve to be berated for what he actually did). That PC had to have been incredibly hard for him given his disdain for the media in general, yet he was contrite and he never wavered once from taking full responsibility.
I now believe that the result of this could bring this team closer together and I suspect the players will want to win for the coach. I suspect this story now goes away pretty quickly from here as there are no more legs to it.
