I wanted to give an update on a RB I mentioned last year and who I put on Vanderbilt's radar.
His name is Todd Jones Jr., and he plays for Boulder HS. Last year I coached running backs and freshman at Boulder so I got to see him live and in color. I try exceptionally hard to be as objective as possible and not drink my own kool aid, if you will, but he had me geeked up last year -- he is just a vastly superior athlete. Far and away the best HS player I have seen in person and I have yet to see a game where there is someone on a team near his talent.
Here are his stats this year, rushing alone. he was suspended for the first game (which Boulder lost and only scored 7 points) so Game 1 is actually Boulder's Game 2.
Game 1: 188 yards rushing, 2 TDs (95ish yard TD kick return as well for his 3rd TD)
Game 2: 223 yards rushing, 4 TDs
Game 3: 277 yards rushing, 5 TDs (additionally he had a 97 yard KO return for his 6th TD)
Game 4: 244 yards rushing, 3 TDs

I doubt Vanderbilt has a shot because I have not seem them linked to him in any media but man would that make me happy.
