Some of you may have attended Vanderbilt’s TopGolf Event on 12/26 in Birmingham. Here’s a few of my takeaways:
1. The university is marketing the success of this season. At the event they gave out commemorative mini goalposts with the VU sign and the 40-35 score along with Anchor Impact QR codes. They could and should definitely do more, but it was a nice touch.
2. A TooGolf exists in Nashville and the university should take advantage of that.
3. The Commodore Hour should have been broadcast over the loudspeakers. You could not hear it by the bays.
4. Former athletes should ALWAYS get in free, especially football players, sell out or not. I know Blake had some difficulty getting in, which is bullshit
Overall, it was a fun event and a good time
