Simone Charley and her NWSL team Portland won the league championship today. Was at NSC so couldn't watch but per the twitters she played great and had a goal disallowed due to a close offside call. She has started a lot of games for them this season and I believe recently signed a contract to keep her there.
Congrats to her. When she was at VU soccer seemed to take a backseat to track so it's pretty awesome what she's accomplished. Probably one of the best pure athletes at VU ever
