We will have five assassins next year. MFD, Justice, LaChance, Cressler, and Kornet. These are the types of guys who can just blow a game open with a 4-5 minute hot streak. We've had these types of guys before. Jenkins was one. Foster, too. But five at once is pretty rare. These are the kind of guys who opponents game plan to play tight, no-help defense with their best defender. How do you guard all of them tightly at once, though?
Perhaps more amazingly, though, is that that group of five doesn't even include our two best percentage guys from last season in Baldwin (44%) and Roberson (45%). Nor does it include Sehic, who is known as a very good shooter, having led one high major Summer League in 3pt percentage, or Jones who led the SEC in field goal percentage (obviously not from three, but still.)
The shooting we have assembled on this roster is just ridiculous level good. I doubt anyone in the country will trot out a lineup of shooters like that.
