There are some differences, but I can't help but be reminded of the 1997 squad which also had a great defense. That team wound up with a 3 and 8 record and led the league in total defense at 275 yards per game. I think the back seven on that team was better than the 2015 Dores, but this year's defensive linemen are better. The 97 team had little depth and our starters were worn down late in games ; this team has better depth and is younger. The 97 starting linebacking corps of Jamie Duncan, Carlton Hall, and Antony Jordan incredibly accounted for over 300 tackles during the season. We also had a secondary comprised of Corey Chavous, Fred Vinson, Ainsley Battles, and Rock Batten. Very sure tacklers among that crew.
