The VandyBoys entered Sunday’s contest looking for a three game sweep of Carlsjr. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with either team as the game was cancelled with the series luckily already decided. SEC officials tried to get the game started with Jake Eder taking warm up pitches three separate times before each warm up session was halted by lighting eight miles in the area. The VandyBoys will now have an extra off day before their midweek game Tuesday night versus Indiana State who they faced in last year’s Nashville regional. @VandyJunior2 should be back for Tuesday night’s game and will give you an SEC standings update!!
