Here a few recruiting notes to pass along as January official visits will begin to take place this weekend:
- We've reached out to local Brentwood Academy defensive tackle commit Brandon Adams and he confirmed that he is planning to take an official visit to Georgia Tech this weekend. This was brought up as a possibility on our board not too long ago and it looks as though it will happen. However, keep in mind that he still has his official visit to Vanderbilt scheduled the weekend after with all the other commits.
- We also got a little more information Jesuit (La.) wide receiver target Kalija Lipscomb via his high school position coach Gino Giambelluca who described the talented senior as "a three-year starter that is great with the ball in his hands and is an explosive playmaker." He also confirmed that Lipscomb has other offers from Arkansas, Northwestern, and Nebraska. Lipscomb will be taking his official visit to Vanderbilt this weekend.
- A note on another upcoming Vanderbilt official visitor in Klein Collins (Tex.) linebacker Cameron Goode. While he's been committed to Cal since August, he has yet to actually visit their campus but does have an official visit scheduled after his visit to Vanderbilt this weekend. Interesting tidbit we thought.
