Receiving targets - it's not just receivers

From what I've seen and read and heard, Webb and Crawford are both excellent at catching out of the backfield. In fact, I've considered that to have been a weakness of most VU tailbacks in recent years. But not with those two. And the QBs are all hitting them on time and in stride. Add to that the TEs, who proved more than capable as receivers last season, and before you even get to the receivers, there are multiple targets for JMc and crew to hit. Seems like Ludwig is working those routes and those guys very often, too. So our true WR's seem to have plenty of help in trying to move the offense through the air. So maybe there is a little less pressure on both the QBs and the WRs as a result of the scheme and skills of the non-WR "receivers." And if just a few of them take the next step, our passing game could be varied and unpredictable for defenses.
