What are your thoughts on the depth chart at the running back position? Running back’s are a huge component on this offense and for what it’s worth Beck gave four backs significant playing time last year. I’m sure he would like to do the same this year, but will enough quality depth emerge to do so? With a new RB’s coach (Ghaali Muhammad-Lankford), it’s essentially anyone’s game as the depth chart gets reset. Who do you think will emerge as the leaders of the rotation?
One thing to watch is the potential emergence of Deago Benson as maybe a 3rd string guy behind AJ Newberry and Sedrick Alexander. This system looks a lot more like what he ran in high school with its two back sets and motion schemes, and I wonder if he takes a big leap. He has great speed (10.87 100m) and good size he just needs to put it together on the field.
