Jon Curran is back in the field this week at the Valero Texas Open on the PGA Tour. With a Top-25 finish at last weekend's Web.com Tour event, Luke List qualified for the Web.com's Chitimacha Louisiana Open, so he will be playing this weekend, too.
This week's PGA tournament is in San Antonio, and it is one of the last opportunities to qualify for the Masters. There are some pretty good players just outside the cutoff of Top-50 of the World Golf Rankings who could help themselves get in with strong play this week and at next week's Shell Houston Open.
Jon Curran will be teeing off tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. It's supposed to rain early in San Antonio and then clear up, so the afternoon may be a better time to play assuming he is able to get his round in.
Some stats for Curran -
Curran - Official World Golf Ranking - 198; FedEx Cup Points- 75th; PGA Money List - $555,322 (66th)
I will keep the thread updated with these guys performances this weekend.
