Philip, don't know if you saw the article in the WSJ about new analysis of whether the "hot hand" in basketball truly exists or not. Below is a link to an overview of the analysis...net is, current theory is biased against hot hands (that darned non-linear division) and that, mathematically, the hot hand may well exist. So you and FB may be on the same page after all!
