Traditionally, most people associate Nashville's music scene with "country" you hear on the radio. But thanks to entities like Lightning 100 (Live On the Green), Grimey's Records, Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), Jack White (White Stripes/Third Man Records), Sturgill Simpson, Infinity Cat Records, etc., these days the Nashville music scene is getting much more respect nationally.
This was an incredible decade for music IMO and it was cool to get to experience much of it in Nashville during a time when the city was getting better and better acts.
