Admittedly I have not been through all the threads, but wondering if this has been discussed. It appeared that Pavia was not healthy and his running ability was nowhere near what it was the first two games. Does anyone else see that Lea’s decision to leave Pavia in up 30 something to nothing against Alcorn deep into the third quarter ended up helping sabotage last night’s game? Everyone in our section last Saturday was holding their breaths and pleading for Clark to take Pavia out, but he continued to run the ball and take hit after hit until it appeared that he slightly injured his knee on a run. Then reports that he was gimpy in the pregame last night. It just appeared obvious that he wasn’t able to run the ball the same last night and his legs were a big part of our offensive effectiveness the first two games. Thoughts?
