I was roundly criticized that i was skeptical that, when she was hired, it meant Final 4s and NCs were right around the corner. We are now tied for 9th with very little chance of finishing in the top half of the league. In SEC games in which Blakes scored less than 30, we are 2-7. I know that's cherry-picking stats, but very few teams have a player they can count on for 30+ a game, much less 53 or 55.
As a contrast, CMB has the men in, ok, 10th place. BUT double the wins of last season (and counting!). Seems to be on the right track.
I have wanted EVERY Vandy coach to succeed. I pulled for Schmidt, Dowhower, Drew, Stack, White. Doesn't mean i wasn't glad to see them go when they did.
IMOO, if next year doesn't see us finish in the top half of the SEC, with 3-4 postseason wins AND/OR byes, it's time to move on. BRING ON THE HATE.
