On catchers:
Is happy with Espinal
Bulger had the best fall he's had at Vanderbilt. He's seen a lot of growth from him. May want to see Bulger be more aggressive.
Poeteet had a great summer. Next step is more consistently hitting velocity.

There's some power lineups they could use as well as speed lineups and blends of both.

On baserunning:
They work hard to enstill instincts in their baserunners.
Enrique Bradfield did the little things well, he prepped defensively and on the bases before each away series to get a feel for the field.

On MLB adapting rules and those potentially come to college:
Shewmaker thinks that those changes could come down to college in the next year or two. Thinks a lot of the changes are good.

On winning the SEC Tournament:
The biggest moment was LaNeve's homer.
Still gets goosebumps thinking about it.
Not where they want to be but winning is hard.
