Very unfortunate that we missed several TDs all for the same one reason ... but now JMc knows what he has to work on, and just as important, Ludwig knows where the game time weakness is for JMc. (Aside from the risk of injury, sometimes I wish college had a preseason game to see what issues remain). This wasn't a "vandy always finds a way to lose" type of game to me; there was one issue. We had our best drive at the end.

Ludwig is a smart guy. I imagine he will use different calls in the redzone to reduce the risk of that happening again.

JMc looked really emotionally crushed out there in the second half but the final drive was terrific and important for his confidence. I"m sure the presser was really tough for him too; no doubt he will work very hard to do his best. Wish I could give him a hug. DixieDog had mentioned how important this game was and I think the mental/emotional side of it is key. How they respond is the question. Hoping the players (and their parents) rebound and are inspired to keep building. There was definitely some good stuff in the game to build on. The season isn't over.

Flydore (?) was going to talk more about the OL. Obviously, Jelks out hurts a lot.

Many of you want the coaching staff blown up right now, but please be respectful of the players. They are college kids, not pro.

One final thought: if one of those end zone passes had been caught by Vandy and we won, what would you be saying? what if both had been caught? There was no in-game coaching difference between what happened and those two options.

So we move forward. Next up, UGA. Go Dores.
