- Much like most of you, I thought yesterday's performance was extremely disappointing. I knew it was going to be tough for Vanderbilt to go into Columbia and get the win with Steve Spurrier resigning. After watching the game yesterday, I thought Vanderbilt was the better team, but you can't win turning the football over 5 times.

- Quarterback play was bad yesterday. There were some drops that didn't help, BUT Johnny has to make better decisions. Don't throw down the middle of the field on 3rd and 25. Vanderbilt can't win games giving the other team the ball. I do think he's the best option at QB, but I don't think a change at the position is out of question if the same mistakes continue to happen.

- Inpressive day for Sims. It was nice to see him run the outside zone, and he's the big play threat that this team needs. I think it's safe to say that his touches will increase.

- In my opinion, the biggest play of the game was when Vanderbilt had 3rd and 2 on SC's 5 yard line up 7-6. Vanderbilt gets stuffed on an inside zone. I thought Vanderbilt needed to be a little more aggressive in that scenario. Instead, they get stopped, kick a FG, and Cooper goes 70 on the next drive. All momentum was lost at that point forward.

- Defense didn't play their best game, but they sure gave that team an opportunity to win. They made stops when they needed to, and they gave the offense opportunities with field position.

- Zach Cunningam is a special player. He just seems to be everywhere.
